10 things I learnt this weekend

1. never believe photos resorts/spas put up on their website. Photoshop is a powerful tool

2. always read trip advisor BEFORE booking a place

3. check out when monsoon season is

4. never feed Zac beans or any gas creating food group before a long trip

5. take your own bedding and bleach if its below 4 star accommodation

6. cover up when in a extreme Muslim part of the world - a bikini amongst a crowded pool of lycra swimming burkers is a fast way to draw unwanted attention to oneself

7. always go with the GPS even when your husband thinks he knows the way and starts giving conflicting directions resulting in U-turns and rising irritation levels :-) 

8. be wary of livestock on the road

9. every place has a Chinatown (thank the Lord)

10. just because it looks like a lady, does not mean it is one
